We're back for the second half of Day 2, and as promised, here are a few pictures of the new walls.
New entrance to our bedroom. This little wall on the left is new. |
Here's our new toilet area, this time with a nice little window for actual light! |
Once we put them into place, they looked something like this:
Doesn't make sense to you yet? Don't worry, me either. We're dying to see how it all looks put together so that we can understand the flow. At the risk of sounding completely ungrateful, here's the part where I admit to you guys that I'm a little nervous. Here's the view from our bedroom door towards where our bed will go:
That closet on the left hand side is in place, which means that little space to the right is all we'll have for our bed and furniture. Yikes! Our designer has promised that he mapped out our entire space with the dimensions of our furniture so everything will fit perfectly, I guess I'm just not seeing it yet. Perhaps its because the area is still full of stuff. I'm just going to have to trust the experts on this one, because honestly, that's the only option. The trade off to getting a completely free, luxury bathroom is that you don't have any control over the end product. That's what we signed up for, so we're just going to have to wait and see how it all comes together. The good news is that I've never seen a Bath Crashers episode that I didn't love, so I have faith that it will all pull together in the end. Cross your fingers for us, and we'll be back with the reveal on Monday!
